My friend Terry had these seats for over 30 years. I've had my eye on these for the last fifteen years, and the opportunity to buy them finally came up. I believe they are out of a T-6 Texan. I've had one of these before, and I let it go back to the airplane guys. That's not happening this time.

I see putting them into a chopped deuce Tudor in the future. We'll see!

What WWII aircraft are they from? They look very cool. JW

  9. Non parachute pack seats so more likely than not either a training aircraft or something more rear-esh admin type. My guess would be Harvard/Texan?

Yes, Texan is correct. The nice part about getting them out of a Texan is that you get a matching pair!

  12. Very cool seats, should look great in a car. I must say, my reading comprehension is somewhat lacking, you identified them as Texan seats in your first post........Duh!

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm positive you said those seats were included with the T Coupe body... really sure. Happy Holidays again.

I've got original yellow floatation seat back cushions from WWII with mounting hardware for those seats...I'll post some pics of them tomorrow when I get out to the shop...too cold tonight.

    edit***

They look like these that were in my coupe, but no writing on them...

Those are neat, Larry! Too bad we can't get this stuff at surplus pricing anymore!
