I've had an appreciation for cl***ic cars my whole life. However, a big interest without a lick of skill = possibly screwed on my latest endeavor. Just bought a 1958 Apache short bed step side. I love the looks of the truck, liked these for years, finally bit the bullet and bought one. It has original everything- aside for the 350 engine, 4 on the floor trans and power steering. I'll need to upgrade the brakes, rearend and suspension to make it a safe and enjoyable driver. Then theres the paint/body... pretty straight, just needs a couple of rust spots repaired (not bad ones) and a fresh paint job. Gotta prioritize and go for budget upgrades, as I'm not a rich guy. -Brian
