I have been in touch with Mike Stude who makes the inner and outer rockers for the 1949, 1950, and 1951 mercury. I am in need of some of these outer rockers for my 50 merc and Mike is willing to supply them, but unfortunately he would like to have a handful of orders on hand before he proceeds with making a batch. He said the orders have been slow, so he would prefer to wait until he has more requests. Therefore, I am putting out this request to all you merc owners who are in need of some outer rockers to please contact Mike Stude (Green Mountain Rockers) if you would like to place an order. His contact information is 802-989-3814. He was good with me making this request on the HAMB.

I'm still needing a pair. Certainly there are more Mercury owners out there that also need a new pair of rockers.

I have seen those, but they are twice the price as Green Mountain. How was the quality of the ones you purchased on ebay?

I was quoted $350 for the pair (2-door). That's half the price as those on ebay.

Here's some pics from when I bought front and rear floor pans, inner and outer rockers, front fender dog legs and trunk floor some from Mike in 1995. Don't go by these prices.
The quality is first class so buy it all NOW if you need it and have the $$$. You won't be sorry. He also makes the 2 door outer rockers as shown earlier. Click on pic to enlarge.

A few more pics of Mike's sheet metal installation. Fits great. Click on pic to enlarge.
Thank goodness he's still making these parts.

I just looked on ebay again there are 2dr ones left and right 34.99 each i suppose it wouldn't hurt to message the guy if you have an ebay account and find out if they are legit enough. Maybe have him send pics. But sheetmetal is sheetmetal unless you want completely original ones. i was going to use mine to patch up the original ones.

The rockers are made in canada but some of the original Mercs were also along with the Meteors.

Unfortunately, those you mention from ebay are only partial rocker assemblies and not the full assembly that I am looking for (front, top and sides).

Green mountains are a good fit, the Sherman ones are descent too but usually need some finessing. Don't buy the $35 rockers.....
