looking to lower and need some new chrome

just bought some aerostar MOOG cc850 springs for the front and kyb shocks for all four corners

 

Welcome aboard! Nice looking ride. I think you will like the new springs. I run those on the front of my '56.

just installed the new KYB shocks in the back ... now going to work on getting those front areostar spring in ..

I thinking about lowering the rear of the car ... and if I do what do you guys think 2"...3" or should I leave it stock

 

I think you have it nailed now, but that's just me. I never liked the tail dragger look too much. That said, if you do lower the rear I would just go 2 inches.

 

Just put the Aerostar springs in my 53. Love 'em

 

I'd lower the rear. Anything over 5 inches and you gotta cut the floor to clear the drive shaft and c-notch the frame!

 

I think you have it nailed as is,bad thing about the 52-54 Fords is the shallow rear wheel wells so changing a flat on one lowered much more can be a major PIA. Just something to keep in mind.
