    just bought some aerostar MOOG cc850 springs for the front and kyb shocks for all four corners
     
  4. Welcome aboard! Nice looking ride. I think you will like the new springs. I run those on the front of my '56.

    just installed the new KYB shocks in the back ... now going to work on getting those front areostar spring in ..

    new aerostar springs in the front with new KYB shocks in all four corners .... I think the stance in the front is a lot better.. what do you think?

    I thinking about lowering the rear of the car ... and if I do what do you guys think 2"...3" or should I leave it stock
     
  16. I think you have it nailed now, but that's just me. I never liked the tail dragger look too much. That said, if you do lower the rear I would just go 2 inches.

    I'd lower the rear. Anything over 5 inches and you gotta cut the floor to clear the drive shaft and c-notch the frame!

    I think you have it nailed as is,bad thing about the 52-54 Fords is the shallow rear wheel wells so changing a flat on one lowered much more can be a major PIA.:( Just something to keep in mind.
