Hey all. I wasnt going this year. first missed in 15 years. But I think I now have a gig in daytona that weekend and will show up. If all goes well we will be at the Iron Horse north friday and saturday night. I will let you all know. Last years ****py parking arrangment pissed me off.
When is vender set up? Wednesday? Can the public get in early for set up? Most swaps have a set up day that is open to the public. old spoke
Walt, seen on your bands email you may be playing. If it does happen, how about sending out a note with some basic directions to where the bar is. Not familar enough with the Daytona area to know where the bar is. Vendor day can be hit or miss on getting in.
Be sure and go in the internet and book your hotel in advance cause it's hard to find a good one nearby Daytona if you don't. Bring $$$$.
Hey all. Finally something to do at the turkey run at night. Boot hill north. Music all day... bluegr*** and rockabilly. The Boothill is right across from the Iron horse. the old broken spoke. US 1 north from speedway drive about 10 miles. In Ormond. they say lots of hotrod parking and cold beer and some hot calender chick bla bla bla. So, the Psycho devilles will be playing from 8-11 friday and Saturday night. My cell is 941-416-1819. I wont be in an old car cuz I gotta drive the tour bus. See ya there.
Seems there will be NO HAMB meet this year at this rate......You guys all BITE and mooch beers so it wont be a loss after all...and if ya see me stay out of my wagon
I'll be there in the 63. The past few years I've been parking with the sleds. Last year we were out in bfe right beside the rumblers. This year I think we are by the RV parking (back side of the swap meet) much better!! Perhaps I'll see a few of you there.
