Hows it going, my name is Frank been on the H.A.M.B. for a couple of days and have been checking out the postings. Im also new to the jockey journal Ive been on the jockey journal for a couple of weeks. I have a 1969 Galaxie 500XL fastback, this is my baby. Ive had her since high school, love this car. Been around cars all of my life, my father and uncles love to restore old cars, my uncle has a 68 Riviera, 64 and 63 Galaxie, and he just sold his mode A. Same thing with my dad, he had a 64 Galaxie, 67 fairlane, and Im not sure what he just got a hold of, I think it was an old Chevy. The point is, I share the same love of old cars. Frank
Thanks guys for the welcome, I'll try and post some pictures of my 69 galaxie when I go back home. I was going to repaint it, but my money is going into my bikes (74 850 Norton, and triumph bobber/chopper project). I just got my uncle's 64 1/2 galaxie 500 (just the shell) not sure what I'm going to do with it, I might just tade it for some bike parts (too many projects).
