Car Kulture Deluxe featured my pick up

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 4eva4banger, Dec 19, 2003.

1. It was a real buzz to get my copy of Car Kulture Deluxe at the Mooneyes Car Show and see the feature on my Model A pick up in there!

Congrats man!!
It's a pretty cool feeling reading a mag and seeing your ride in it! [IMG]
CKD did a B/W feature on my '33 pick up too. I think it was Issue #7 .
Actually "hotrodphotos" on here did the shoot.

Rat...

Dammit Spike, i was typing and you beat me to the post!!
You must type faster than me! [IMG]
I had to come back and edit it.

4. The squeaky wheel gets the oil!

Whether I did it or someone else did its a real buzz.

There will be more New Zealand hot rods featured in there

Greg, good on ya, mate! Or something like that, if that's what you say in NZ. Or is that a saying peculiar to Oz? In any case, I agree with Tony it is always fun to see your ride featured in a mag. Now, what is happening with you now that you have returned home from your extended tour of the West coast??

8. Thanks guys! Appreciate your kind comments.

Here is the update. I have been working here since Oct 29 and I head back to NZ for Christmas. I have attended some great events and managed to meet up with some of you. My thanks go to you all and especially Geoff Mitford Taylor of GMT Metalworks in Huntington Beach. I will be back in mid January! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!

Hey Greg, Are you going to Kumeu and what car are you taking?

As a matter of fact who else in NZ is going?

See you all there I hope.

I will be at Kumeu. I was going to have a stall selling some stuff I have lying around but for the last two years I haven't been able to see around the show so this year I will just be a spectator. Might even find me a new car.

HAMB meeting at 55 OLDS site lunchtime saturday?

I'm thinking of maybe gathering somewhere on site to drink heavily on friday or saturday or sunday nite. This year I'm staying on site so that should be easy for me!

Either way Ill have the T-bucket up there and try and do some laps around if they let me, No more overheating problems so I can cruise ALLLL day long and nite too!!

14. Yes, I will be at Kumeu with the pick up

Look forward to seeing all the Kiwis there!
