Pappy Hough Steel Quick change

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Donald N Wemple Jr., Aug 24, 2013.

  1. Interested in a photo of one of Pappy Hough's home made Quick change units he built in Patterson. Also how I could identify one if I found one. Interested in purchasing one for a sprint car I am restoring. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Don.

Did he make them from a ford banjo rear end?

  3. There was a thread on him here (HAMB) back in '07 with a image of his front, not his rear end....

  4. As best as I can tell yes they were made from Banjo rearends. How do I find the thread from 07 and the image of his quickchange . Thanks.

Stan Lobitz posted a photo of one either on the midget or sprint threads a while ago, Do a real creative search, or pm Stan, and you will come up with it.

  6. Thank you very much, Don

  7. Contacted Stan. He has a Pappy Hough In/out box and sent me a photo. I also purchased an old Cast Iron quick change and when I recieve it I will post a photo of it to possibly identify who may have built it. Thanks Don
