    My pal Greg S. sold his 64 Fairlane back to Gregg Porter and drove across the border to check out a 40 pickup we have known about for a couple of years.

    The truck has a louvered hood and a really nice Flathead,the ****** & rear axle is original.

    He decided he couldn't live without it,,needs a little updating but it's a really nice old truck. HRP

    I was wondering the same thing, just flip the heads, I've heard this was done back then. Really nice truck, lucky dog!

    Sorry,these are all Greg sent me,I've seen the truck a few times in the past but I haven't seen it in a couple of years.

    The guy that had the truck had owned it a very long time so I'm sure any of the engine modifications have been done a good while back. HRP

    yours has 41' hood chrome and hood-whiskers........but you could turn it into one just like the beautiful 40 above.............

    The "generator mount" is actually the oil filter mounting point.
