It seems simple enough, I pull the pics from my gallery just like on the pc. I click it and it acts as if its all well, but still no pictures post ... what gives ? I'm sure someone can help, I'm not the most tech smart but it seems I'm just doing something wrong.... well obviously. Any help is appreciated. Sincerely, Mr fat fingers Posted using my peepee
I'm having the exact same issue with my android too I've done everything from restarting it and even reloading the app twice
Works on most things but not here, anyone else had success posting pics ? What's the secret. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
If it's not that the pictures are to big. I have the same issue. I've cleared cookies, reset, logged out and all that bs. When ever it just acts stupid when I go to load pictures. I end up deleting the app the reinstalling it. It's a bit of pain. I hope someone can recommend a better solution. Sent via Illinois Bell Telephone Company's Car Radiotelephone
I've resized em, guess I'll ask my kid to figure it out us Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Where in the process are you having trouble? Sent via Illinois Bell Telephone Company's Car Radiotelephone
Well, I select the pic from my gallery, it acts like its loading, then it just times out, no pic no nothing. I'm using the same process that works on the PC & my kids tablet. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
That's what mine does on occasion. I end up uninstalling the app then reinstall and no more issues for a couple months. It does that to if I have a weak signal. Sent via Illinois Bell Telephone Company's Car Radiotelephone
Mines doing the same thing.. Plus when I click on someone's picture to enlarge it, the pic is real blurry??? Help mods?
X2 on the blur pics. It's not all of them though. I think it may have to actually do with the quality of the image. Sent via Illinois Bell Telephone Company's Car Radiotelephone
I don't have a smartphone and know practically nothing about how they work. But I suspect that the blurry pictures you're seeing are a temporary, low resolution version of the picture. I think they show it to indicate that the link is working and it eventually will be replaced with a higher resolution version. In a perfect world. They figure you'd rather see this for a moment than a blank page. I'd guess that your connection speed also has some effect on the time this takes.
Anyone having problems seeing pictures on the app and/or on the internet using ur phone??? Freaking frustrating! !!
Yes a lot of threads I'm wondering wtf I switch to web view and everything is honkey dory. Sent via Illinois Bell Telephone Company's Car Radiotelephone
As I mentioned before, I don't know diddly about smartphones. But I do know my way around digital cameras. I'm assuming the pics you're trying to upload were taken with the phone. Do you know what size the images are? Not the file size, but the pixel dimensions. Like 1600 pixels wide by 1200 pixels high. I'm guessing that the phone has some settings that can change the size of the picture it's taking. And I think I've seen phones that can shoot as high as 8, 12 or even 16 megapixels. Multiply the pixel width and the pixel height of your picture to determine the megapixels. It's like figuring out square footage. If the image is 4000 x 3000 pixels that's 12,000,000 pixels, or 12MP. You don't need an image nearly that big to post in the forums. 800 x 600 pixels is usually plenty big and that works out to 480,000 pixels, or less than half a megapixel. You might want to experiment a bit and see if your phone will let you shoot at a smaller size like 800 x 600, 1024 x 768 or 1600 x 1200. If the bigger images are what's causing the problems and the time-outs, the smaller images may upload better for you. And they'll certainly upload a lot faster. All this is also assuming that you're only viewing your pictures on a monitor. If you're planning on printing the photos, especially at larger sizes, you'll still want to shoot your pics at the larger sizes. But consider making downsized copies for uploading online.
I'm trying to post pictures of this 62 T Bird 5 speed conversion project with a Samsung Galaxy S3 with no luck at all. Frustrating.
Green Rodz, I also have an S3. Every once in awhile I have to delete the app the reload it and then I have no problems posting pictures. At least until the next. Also are you sure you have a good internet connection. Sent via Illinois Bell Telephone Company's Car Radiotelephone
I gave up, I've resized, reloaded, restarted. Hate to do it, but I'm just listing the rest of my stuff on ebay and just post a link to the add.
