Event Coverage Royboy Goes To The Rocky Mountain Auto Show

Because I'm a complete and total maniac, last Friday I got up at 5:30am and headed up to Denver for the Rocky Mountain Auto Show. 422 miles and 6 hours later I rolled into the parking garage, camera in hand. 3 hours later, with a full up camera, I turned around and drove home. Thanks to my buddy Dan Greenberg for loaning me a lens that I've been thinking about buying. It's always good to try before you buy! Here's some of what I saw. Most of the show is not H.A.M.B. material and I posted most of this on my site this week but I wanted to share some of these here with you as well.

There's a bunch more to come including a big killer display from the Hot Rod Hill Climb and some vintage machines from the Pikes Peak Hill Climb too. I'll post more in the morning, time to head out now.

Didya notice Cotton Werksman's T? Now owned by a local Colo. guy. Ardun powered, 6 2's, tubing space frame, Halibrand disc brakes, early iron quick change, etc, etc. Traditional? Cotton was building cutting edge hot rods before most of us old guys could spell hot rod. He had this car at the 1st Street Rod Nats in Peoria in 1970.
