Come in 743 to the square, but turn right on Chocolate, go past the OLD chocolate factory and turn left at the golf course. That will take you to Derry Rd. turn left and that will take you to the Park Side bar. You will miss the construction.

  2. I have been going to Fall Hershey since 1978. I have not missed one show over the last 15 years. However, this year’s show will be special. You see I will be there as a vendor for the first time. All are welcome to stop by and say hello. I am located in the RED FIELD spot RNA 47

  3. If I show up last minute, how far away will I have travel to find a hotel room?

Just bought some new Saucony Shadow sneakers...it's a lot of walking and for sure you need to be prepared for either heat or soaking rain. At least there's almost no mud these days. Ask anyone who is a vetran of Hershey mud.....

As the eBay auctions end in no sales the items go in the Hershey boxes. Had fun at Kent yesterday, I'm getting stuff ready for Hershey now. Bob

Trailer is in the polebarn just about loaded with treasure. Stop over at RCL 28-29. Either me or Jason will be there. The plan is to take turns ( I'll be back in an hour...)
I don't cover a lot of stuff up in the rain, just the "nice" stuff

noboD thanks every year for the weather and field status reports.

Well Dad's '31 Roadster isn't going after all, motor is stuck. That leaves an enclosed trailer to fill with more junk. Really at the bottom of the barrel, so there will be a large one and five dollar pile. Bob C4J 41-42

Drizzled today (Thursday) until around 2:00pm and then it started raining pretty good. Vendors began closing up, so we left. Found some good stuff yesterday & today until the rains came.

I went there for the 1st time this year. I envy you guys who just have to drive from NY or NC. Took me 33 hours of travel: 7 hours just to get to the airport for the 1st leg. Amtrak, aircraft, took the El all the way across Chicago. Bounced around like a pinball by the time I got there and back. Would make a great country song if i could only rhyme Portland, Seattle, Palm Springs, Dallas, Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Hershey. And Altoona. I was working at a car club booth in the Orange Field all day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Got to check out the auction cars behind the Hershey Lodge, and showed a coupla cars in the car show Saturday. Rained 9.45". The only thing I bought in the booths was stuff to eat. The only times I left my booth were after 5:00 PM, in the rain, and 90% of the booths were vacant or closed. I probably only looked at 10 booths. That means next time I go there'll be a 1000 I haven't seen yet! The car show was really grand - with perfect weather and not one bit of either mud or dust.

  25. so i am guessing....your just getting home now?
