Projects 1930 Chrysler 4 Door Sedan Build thread

Sure.....pick one of the two toughest parts of an early '30s MoPar coupe to look for....the doors or the trunk lid/rumble seat lid.

 

I'm good on the rumble seat lid. Although some bone head decided to braze it to the lower panel to make a deck lid

I just need a door, doesn't even have to be a good one as I can fix it.

 

Made a little progerss this weekend. I got the body off the frame. I got out the heat wrench and first cut 5 bolts on the left side then 5 on the right and thought that was it but the body wouldn't budge. Then I found 3 more bolts on each side of the inside of the frame. That did it. Now I have the roller inside and can finish the trans mount, remove the engine box the frame, run brake lines and paint eveything before starting the body.

 

OK we are having to move so I'm going to post the Chrysler up for sale. Look for it in the for sale arealater today.
