Does any expert Ford Truck member know if a 3/4 ton PU uses a different gear ratio (in the steering gear) than the 1/2 ton Pu?

Hope to find a easier way to steer with dropped axle, and reversed wheels.

    Thanks

When I wonder about something like this, I go to places like LMC truck and look at the exploded views in their catalog and compare part numbers.

I had a 53 f1 that had a box from a 1 ton & it steered like a modern truck without ps---a lot better than stock------I dont know if they interchange on your year model but i would check & measure 2 or 3 times & give it a try
