Hello all. My name is Phill and this weekend I`ll be getting a `53 Pontiac Chieftain all dressed up like a `54. It`s a sedan with the original flathead 6 and 3 on the tree. Missing some trim but all the important stuff is there, gl*** is all good, car runs and drives, dash is in really nice shape too. It`s also coming with fender skirts, sun visor and 3 original hubcaps. Sweet

Much of this winter`s car time will be taken up finishing my other project, a `76 Vega wagon. Here`s a link to the build for anyone who`s interested

Once that`s done it`s Pontiac time. I`m hoping that by spring I can have the floors, floor bracing and body mounts done so I can have it on the road for the summer. Long term plans include a 2-door conversion, chopping the roof, shaving just about everything and disc brakes up front.

I`m really looking forward to starting on this car. I`ve been lurking around this site for a while now checking out a bunch of cool cars and getting a bunch of Ideas for mine.

    Phill
