Yea, that's pretty rough. Go ahead and cut it up. I don't care what anybody else says, I'd rather have a rarer car (sportcoupe) than a common car (5-window).
I think I changed my mind, rarer or not. But.....say it was chopped and dropped, with a blown 409 ..........
Nice car! I don't know what they are worth in France, but that would bring some big bucks over here. You need to just find a trade because to change that would be throwing away money and work. Also, nice looking girls that pop up in the pop up ads...
We'll I don't have any recent pictures of the 3 window but I have some old ones in my album. Here is one. Pry not much to drool on, I need to get some more recent pix.
I agree with the advice given. In the end selling the car and buying or building what you want would be best. That is a very nice looking car and would command a good price. Or if you insist on tearing into it you could sell the just body and buy a new one. Then the sport coupe is some what saved and you get your 5 window.
It's like me saying, I gonna take my three window and convert it into a sports coupe. Makes no sense, that would be crazy.
Really nice car like the color. If I owned it here's what I would do. First chop the windshield about three inches then lean the windshield frame back a few degrees to give the car a much better Hot Rod look then finish by shortening the top irons so the top still folds down. You have the best of both worlds a roadster with roll up windows.
Buy a UAPAC repop 5-window body. Remove Sport Coupe body from ch***is and replace with 5-window body. Sell Sport Coupe body. You get the 5-window you want, and save a Sport Coupe in the process.
