I have a 32 ford coupe with bench seat. It currently just has the loose lap seat belt. I would like to change to a retractable, as I can see these getting in the way of a shutting door and doing all kinds of damage. Anyone have any pictures or ideas of what they used for retractable seat belts? I have looked at several on line and my seat does not seem to accomodate too well to a seat belt coming around the side of it, and I think my best route might be to use a retractable type that comes up between the back and bottom of the seat. However, my seat seem to be pretty tight right there and i wonder if it would pinch the seatbelt and not let it retract back behind the seat. Any ideas or pictures? thanks

Does anyone have a retractable seat belt in a 32 ford bench seat? I am off a couple weeks and plan to figure something out. But if anyone has already done it, I would sure like to see their idea. Thanks

Thanks, I have looked at the juliano and southern rods etc. But I wonder if the seat would pinch the plastic sheild around the belt too much and it might not retract. I would need to run it between the seat and the outter part of the seat. This seat is kind of a reproduction stock style seat. I may have to just buy some and experiment. thanks
