project from 2010 - pretty basic but finding parts was interesting after years of building SBCs, BBCs on modern chassis or full race.
I'm digging the flatty & the wheels. Like ^^^ have a re-think about the seats (please). There's a bit going on there. It's your ride tho Bro. What else you got in mind?
I agree on the seats but they were just sitting in the garage from a previous trade and at 6'1" and 300 pounds every inch made a difference in whether I could fit or not. Just trying to figure this forum out. Feel like a newb even though I am in my 50's and have built over 10 vehicles, most which are not suitable for this forum. Decal was from the steering wheel order I believe and a little help from my youngest daughter. At the time it was easier to leave it on then take it off as we were taking 2 cars to that show. Here's the 28 on the trailer with the 29
28's looking sharp. Yours also? Two Flatties, well done. Is that a " death proof duck" I see? 1928 Ford Closed Cab Pick-up 1929 Ford Roadster 1951 Mercury Coupe 1955 F100
Not sure if there is one. Just brave I guess.Hey bigjsp - I recon you have options over those seats to still offer you max leg room. Plenty options in fact. From bomber seats to a basic bench set-up. Doesn't even have to be pricie. Best bet is to keep looking at what others do & then it'll come rushing at ya.
The 28 was just one of those cars that I stumbled into when trying to sell the 29. Bought it reasonable and straightened out the driveshaft issue & redid the clutch linkage and then it was pretty decent. It was kinda of fun showing them side by side. It was weird but the 29 won and the 28 didn't. Both are now gone and last winters project was a 32 roadster This winters project is a Triumph Mayflower.
Had no idea what a Triumph Mayflower was. Had to Google it. Holy smokes. Tall order trying to make one of those look cool. Good luck with that.
