    Hi,

Got a stockish 46 Ford Tudor with a straight six with suggested 30'ish thousand miles on it. Have mildly hotted flat head V8 and T5 to go into it. The thing is until i get round to doing the conversion i wondered if anyone had any advice on how to get the most out of the six?

I am looking to make it more driveable in traffic etc. car already has disc brakes up front and suspension overhauled all round.

    Any advice much appreciated.

    Thanks,

I would run the 6 till its no good No goodie, then go with flathead and v8 trans case and keep stock drive train.

Thanks George, i had heard the sixes were used on the track and aren't that bad and that i probably would't see that much difference with the flathead V8.
