There's a place here in SoCal called " The Nethercutt Museum" and they have tons of hood ornaments. Here's the link http://www.nethercuttcollection.org/Home.aspx
My best friend took this away from his kid! Now my hood(radiator) ornament..........Just adding to the post
This one looks a lot like something that has been added to a Deuce radiator cap,,the airplane is probably a piece from a trophy shop. HRP
When this one goes down the road the prop turns and the airflow over the wings make it lift just like areal plane. This was on a deuce 3window @ deuce days in Victoria this summer. Anyone know where it came from. I want one!
Yeah,,it's the first one I have ever seen..Watson! Doing a little research I see exactly what you have said,,with speed it actually fly's.. It's called a Kwiksail" Flying Biplane Mascot. HRP
This one popped up before me on Old Style Weekend in Uddevalla, Sweden this year. Not a hood ornament really, but still a helluva cool handmade piece!
