changing wheel diameter

    Can anyone shed some light on what change in handling characteristics I might expect by going to 14" wheels on my 53 Customline. It needs tires and I have been thinking of changing wheels also.
     
  2. What rim / do you have now?
    What rim/ tire do you want to go to?
    Stock motor and suspension ?

    There will be no noticeable difference unless you change from radials to bias plys,,or visa - versa,,well your speedometer will read wrong. HRP

    It would help to know what is currently on the car. It could be little to none or a lot.

    It's tire diameter not wheel diameter that influences anything.

    and wheel geometry.......offset/backspacing.....if much different from stock can affect how the car steers and handles
