I was prowling in an old yard today and found a east coast rusty '56 chrysler saratoga long roof. I'm probably going to pick it up. It has the poly head engine;is it true that a head and top misc. BS swap can work out as a hemi? I have a 354 with a bad block. This thing looks great;the top must be 12 feet long! Any one have pics and do a digital in the weeds pic? I'm open to ideas for this as a cruiser..............

331/354 heads bolt on the block, and will work as long as you have the right intake and water crossover. The wedge-design pistons will yield about a 3:1 compression ratio, better plan on changing them out. lol

Gotgas, thanks for the pics;the guy said '56,but the photos say '55. Imagine this with a pushbloc at the salt or in the weeds as a custom built in the late '50's would be.
