Will a Clifford cast timing cover for a 292 chev fit a Chevy ii banger

    I was wondering if a Clifford cast timing cover will fit a Chevy ii banger aren't they basicly a cut down inline six even a chrome one would be cooler than what I have

    Yes,the cover should fit.However,even Jack Clifford admitted that they LEAK.There are some covers out there used in circle track cars that would work.Ansen made some covers.They are hard to find.Then there are covers made in South America.I used to see them on Ebay every once in awhile.The seller's handle was mrhotrod6 or some such.

    I talked to Clifford today and he said he was casting them up right now. An ansen would be really cool too. I figured a Clifford would be easier to find
