He did, sort of.... and I agree with you, it looks perfect right now... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73738
How about someone doing some artwork with an open top. Not a roadster, but a coupe without the filler, just the wood bows, like Littlemans pickup. My two cents, in person, this car is bad ***- no chop.
I have disagree a bit here. You could cut the top clean off of it and it wouldn't look like anything else being built right now. I still say it would look even more killer with a 3 or 4 inch chop....but I don't live on the east coast either. Whatever you decide about the top...the car is still going to kick ***.
I will check for you this evening and post it for you........Littleman.....just do not remember ,had them kickin around, actually robbed them from my 32 five window project..........
This car is going to look amazing regardless of the top. I don't feel that chopping it is going to make it look like one of the "thousands" out there. I do think it needs a chop though. The name of the car is "Deaths door step" for christ sake. It needs to have that last evil look applied to it. Chop the top, and make this thing scare people.
I have decided today, that when I return from vacation, I will mount the body and give it a 3" haircut.........just can not resist the urge.........Littleman
I agree. Skip the chop. It looks great now. Why trade a distinctive look for a dime-a-dozen look? Just my 2 cents.
Thanks, Littleman. Looks really great and the axel is just the right width. Now I now what to use. //Magnus
