Old thread that I have just come across. I have recently purchased a Met built as a gasser on custom chassis with straight tube front and rover 3900cc V8. However, Being that it is actually a build for my other half it will not remain a gasser. The Rover engine has been replaced by a 302 Ford with 4 speed overdrive. The car will be dropped on the deck with Ford Anglia front arch profiles in the front and the original Met arch profiles put back in the back. The front axle has been mounted slightly forward and I am going to very slightly lengthen the rear bodywork to give it a bit more flow in the side profile.

We also have a 1932 Austin Bantam bodied altered. It'd be nice to take a mould off the Met body and user the dragster chassis to make a real Hot Wheels Metrorail but we shall see!!
