Dave -- Neat pictures of some sweet haulers. Thanks for sharing. I've loved the hammered red '56 F-100 ever since I saw it at the GNRS in the funky warehouse-***-display hall in SF about six, seven years ago. Mike
That red F100 is so ****in holy ****...my hat's off to the builders. Well done and done ****in right.
Here's a pic of my new truck. Got it today and It'll be home in Texas withing the next couple of weeks. Mercury M1 truck...
Well, it ain't all purdy or anythign like that but it is virtually untouched from the sixties......I am doing the BARE MINIMUM updates (I want the truck to remain "barn fresh") - things like power disc brakes - and adding a hitch - BOTH done so it can be tow ready. I LOVE the banjo but it too will be replaced - most likely by a '57 olds rear - the reason is because I want this to be TOW READY - I don't have the dough (not even close) for a TURBO DIESEL so THIS will be my budget version of one!!!
The red one is a factory 396 truck. The baby blue 67 has air rid suspension. Both are a blast to drive.
Factory job, they were made from 57-71 but are scarce now. A stock pickup They also did a panel van Out of which they made a Camper
