Broken Door Latch

Guys

I went to open my drivers door on my 29 Roadster and the door latch broke inside the door, leaving me unable to open the door.

I tried to shimmy a screw driver near where the door striker is located
I tried to remove the door panel but the seat is blocking one of the screws, I tried to remove the seat to get to the screw but its stuck in there pretty good

Is there an easy way to get this door open that I'm missing?

I was told its an older Wescott body if that makes any difference.

 

You might have to drive the door pins out of the hinges and remove the door but pulling the seat out would be mush easier. HRP

 

I'll see if I can get someone to ***ist me on pulling the seat :-/
