Hello everyone. I have been checking things out for a while here on the HAMB. I saved my introduction to coincide with the start of my build. I am not a big poster on forums but I look at builds all the time on great sites like this one. I am part of chopcult, that's comparable to this forum but with 2 wheels. I have been building bikes for a while from the ground up but I have never done a 4 wheel build from scratch. I host a build night one time a week and love to see stuff Built Not Bought. I like tools and metal. My newest vehicle is a 1995 and my daily rider is 1977, I just like old stuff. My new project is a 1937 Ford. It toke some time to decide on what to make. I started with the thought of a 1960's C10, then moved to 1950's then 1940's was cool and the later the mid 1930's body hit the mark for me. Its a small cab and has just the right amount of 'round' to the style. After deciding what appealed to me I found out the bobber truck has a big hate going on I knew it was the build for me. If you hate trucks then your hate is pure but most of the trucks have a wheelbase that is long and super retarded; I hate most of them myself. To each his own and if you like your front axle 4' from the motor. The Rudy and Nacho Trucks inspired me, short WB, simple and have Hot Rod all over them. Will see what comes of this project. I'll do the same thing I do with all my bikes, mock up and stare at it....Repeat 100X then build. Thanks everyone for the inspiration JET
