Hey everybody, my name is Justin. I'm in the process of collecting parts & putting together a traditional hot rod and came on here to look for parts and get some ideas. So far I got a '27 t coupe body, '30 model a frame, a pair of Buick finned drums, & front end suspension... I want to use my Poly 318 that I pulled out of my first car I ever had, 1966 Plymouth Fury, but I'm having trouble finding an Edelbrock p600 intake for it. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Justin
Welcome, I like your plan. P600's show up on ebay from time to time. Bare manifolds sell around $450-600. I paid around $1350 for a complete setup with rebuilt carbs, linkage and air cleaners. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Edelbrock-P600-TriPower-for-Poly-318-/151184540298?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=8Eb8VElH9Pn2yYKfC31kjNf%252BItk%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
One thing to look out for with any of the alloy manifolds is the water jacket crossovers in the manifolds tend to corrode beside where the bolts are on either side........even with a heap of glycol or similar........I have seen this in the single 4,triple and twin four alloy intakes........the factory cast iron intakes do not have this problem..........andyd
