I'm probably the last one in town to learn this, but while looking at one of the Alliance vendors. I noticed he had a headlight switch with the high and low beams on different circuits. So you pull to the third stop of the switch and get low beams. Pull to the forth stop and have high beam. So you don't have the dimmer in the floor. But you still have a high low beam switch to pass inspections in your state. Never saw a switch like that before. The vendor is Autorewire. he has an ebaystore are online catalogue. I have no stock in this vendor. But I'll have one of those switches soon.
