It is not in the same style as the early ones I have seen. they had ribs down the entire length and used block lettering. May be a repo. I have seen many with a square in the center using different names, same over all casting.
Looks just like a Fenton I have, same fins in the middle, but reads Fenton. Yours is probably more rare than a Fenton (I've seen lots of Fentons, never seen an Almquist). Almquist was an aftermarket parts supplier in the old days, kinda like J.C. Whitney. I read somewhere that Aaron Fenton bought all the patterns from Edmunds to make his stuff, dont know if it's true..

What I was told years ago ( Could be fact or fiction ) You could order from Fenton in lots of 50 intakes Your name on intake Thats why there are fenton look likes out there like yours AAA muffler. Tom Cherry, Etc Seen a bunch of them over the years A good friend had a intake collection years ago and thats what I was told Maybe this will help
