    Question: Do you model builders use automotive paint ?

    Sometimes. When using automotive paint I always use automotive primer. The paint can react with the plastic with unfriendly results.
     
  9. Very good advice!
    Always test a new paint on some s**** sprue from the kit you intended to paint!
    You may be surprised at the variety of paints we do use, from model company enamels and acrylics to nail polish, general purpose rattle cans and automotive paints. Almost any medium is acceptable if it provides the colour you want or need.

    Agreed. But it is nice to see one longer than a page or page n a half. That reminds me. I need to go build somethin insted of peckin at this keyboard.:D
