    Hey everyone.. first post on the HAMB .. I loved reading and seeing these post so i jumped in . Just bought this 62 grand prix with a 455 HO love it and 'im getting some great ideas from these post. if anyone knows where i can get 4 of those 8 lug rims besides rip off EBAY. let me know.

    hey hey , take it easy , ebay has some great deals..shop around...8 lugs are worth more than you think ...if you had an extra set , what would you want for them ???..enjoy your 62....happy new gear...

    Welcome from Washington.

    Don't expect to find any bargains on those beauchous o.e. 8 lug wheels. Good ones are hard
    to come by these days, but are certainly worth the effort and expense. Good luck w/ your
    '62 (a very good year) and be sure to check out the recent "Wide Track Pontiac", early '60's
    illustrations in the Vintage Photos from days gone by.." thread.

    As far as the 8 lugs are concerned.....beware of the issue of the drum liners having corrosion between them and the aluminum hub/drum. Also the std wheel size is 14 x 6.....good luck finding decent tires in 14 inch size. You can get larger custom rims for the drums but all of this drives the price up for the setup.

    this is how to fix 14inch tires take off 1/4 of it and then no problem.
    serius 15 inch is the best 8-lug sulution
