ya man!!! thanks!! it's a lot of fun that's for sure. 2nd or 3rd run the starter guy said my pass. door flew open then slammed shut when i grabbed 2nd gear!!! lol i never saw it!! the next run i had it zip tied so it wouldn't come open again. i think the zip tie added some rigidity to the whole thing...lol..it's a blast! them 2 boys of mine sure love it.

 

I wanna see you do that again at the HAMB drags this year!!

 

i was sure trying last yr! it would jump out about 30 ft then come up...real weird...still had 1.5's on the 60 ft which usually i'm in the 1.4's. when i got home i crawled under checking things out and noticed both points where the front of the ladder bars bolt to frame were bent...just a tiny bit but were really fighting against each other. straightened it all out made a more solid mount that was anchored on both sides of the bolts and i'll find out next week how it works...can't wait!

Lots to love on this thread ... I've spent hours here already! I've always been queer for Model A's ... and my favorites are the ones I've built and driven.

My '31 since installing a commercial grill shell and 5:00 X 16 front tires...it also has pickup head and tail lamps.

I've got a commercial cowl band, didn't get it on the car before the weather turned cold.

 

Here's mine sold it 20 years ago

 

Mine with "new look" for 2014....changed the headlights and rad shell.

 

Here is my Coupe, a work-in-progress. Almost ready for the road.

It's built by my brother in law and are in show quality. Much better than my pics shows! He have made almost every piece on the car by himself!
