    Hi all,

I'm maily here learn as much as I can before I start my first bulid next spring when hopefully the cold, wet UK winter will have passed.

Totally impressed with this place...I've spent ages looking at the net for decent hot rod stuff and all I seem to find is billet and fibreglass. Love the stuff you guys are building and driving.

Thanks for the welcome guys :)

The project is probably doing to depend on what I can find to work with. I'd love a Model A truck, but I've never one for sale over here. There is also the problem of my height. I'm 6'6" and I like cars with pretty severe chops and heavily channeled. I don't think the two mix very well!

I figured that if I could find a sedan I would be able to move the seat further back and have it more reclined allowing a little more head and leg room.

A roadster would probably make the most sense in terms of fitting into it, but I prefer the look of sedans and I doubt a roadster would get as much use with the English weather.

I'd love a flathead, but again they're not the easiest things to come acrosss over here...I guess it'll come down to what's available at the time I come to need an engine.
