Bought these NOS in a box about 10 years ago, but not sure what they actually were made for. SBC, 1 7/8 tubes. I seem to remember being told they are 180 degree Cup headers for factory style front clips. Dry sump only. I bought them (dry sump pump, pan and tank) to install on a project (now sold) for the oddball sound of 180's. Any ideas? Never heard them on anything running.

That dummy/plastic small-block hanging next to the headers concerns the non-car folks that visit too.

yep old Winston cup headers , those are the reason why to old 1970s cup cars sounded different ( throatier and deeper) than the newer ones , the pulses were timed evenly and the boom tubes were on both sides of the cars , now they just use a standard header and a x pipe and dump on the drivers side and have a higher pitched drone to them . should fit a OEm frame car , as the later years the nascars were tube framed with skin , ussually the mfg was stamped on collector or had a tag .

Looks similar to a Stahl header, but with slip tubes instead of flanges on the crossover tubes.
