    Hello.

If anyone can give me any info specifically about the Continentals from Quincy, MA, I would really appreciate it. I have included a photo of their club jacket. I am aware that O'Brien has their plaque pattern.

    Best wishes, David

John Hayward, who had a '52 or '53 or so pink Ford with a white continental kit, was one of the original members. He may have died in Viet Nam? Anyone?...

bttt...some more info...One of the original members had a mildly customized 1946 Oldsmobile four door trunk back...Benson's Esso in Quincy Point had owners or employees that were affiliated with, or knew the Continentals? Anyone?

OK, thank you. The man that gave me that name was not sure. He was not sure even if that was his actual name, or he may have had a similar name. I plan to do some research in Quincy soon to see what I can find out.

Thank you! It was mine, it went to a new owner in Switzerland last August. I can't keep them all, and I have five other projects going...

Grew up in Quincy, belonged to the Flywheels (Braintree) in the mid 50's, but don't remember the Continentals club.

I remember the Road Angels, but not the Continentals.

But, I betcha that that club jacket was done at Coleman's Sporting Goods in Quincy Square. I think that I recognize the stitching.

  17. Are we sure it was a Mass. club?

This thread should be very intriguing.

Yes! I am sure it was a Quincy, Massachussetts club. I have a relative that was an actual member, the Continentals jacket is his, he just does not remember many details of that era....

Thanks. I spoke to Billy, and anyone who looked old enough to maybe remember, at the last Ty-Rods hall of fame gathering...no luck so far...
