I need a banjo fitting to fit the 18mm O-ring inlet on a power rack. Fittings that say they're for power steering applications are not readily available locally, but I found one that is intended for the cooling line on a turbo intercooler.

Any problem using the intercooler banjo for power steering? Too much pressure for it??

    Looks like this:

    You mean like these?

Seriously, any decent steel AN/JIC fitting should comfortably handle power steering pressures (600-1600psi depending on your pump/application) but you need real hydraulic hose and fittings, not steel-braided AN.

Yep- But the Unisteer fitting is not available locally, but the pictured type is. I didn't know if it was literally the same, or built to a different (ie lower pressure) spec.

Try the guys at Earls Indy. They have a website, but that is only a portion of the stuff they carry. great to deal with and fast.
