Castrol Super Clean Degreaser - Help

Hello all, Where do your find this stuff!!!???????

Not the spray bottle but the 1 gallon container???? I have looked all over at Wal Mart, Pep Boys, and Auto Zone. Any ideas??

 

I keep finding it at Walmart and certain auto parts stores. Wayno

 

My local NAPA store carries it as does the Farm & Fleet. Try them or your local farm supply store.

 

I have used several differant brands of the "purple degreaser" to clean our restaurant's kitchen. And there is nothing worse then grease from a bbq and burger joint. From my research they all work about the same. Some work faster then others. So if you cant find that brand the other brands work good to. Usally can find "Power Clean" at Autozone and Advance for a good price. Zep from Home Depot is about the same as Castrol.

Yes. Yes it is. Don't ask me how I know...

 

WAL_MART is where I picked up my gallon....

 

I get it at Walmart or Autozone. If they are out I get Purple power. It cleans just the same.

Good luck finding it in CA, cuz it was outlawed about 4months ago, we had to pull it all off the shevles at the Kragen I work at, along with Wal-Mart and every other local parts store. There was a guy in my area who apparently got wind of it & ordered like 5 cases of the gallon bottles from the Wal-Mart about a 1 month before we got the Email to pull it from the shelves.

Aeroman, this stuff works great, but eats paint. If paint is not a problem, get the cold oven cleaner, because it will eat the paint too. I just used it on a engine and trans that sat for 58 years and it cleaned very well. The trans is aluminum and the oven cleaner didn't make it black. I found Easy-Off at K-Fart, took about 4 cans.

 

Napa has it by me. For a while it was off the market (all summer just about), now it's back, same product, same bottle, but no longer made by Castrol. That might be why you've had a hard time finding it lately.

 

There is another product called "Oil Eater" that they sell at Costco that works just as good.

 

I was working at a NAPA in california before I left (a couple months ago). I don't think we ever had Super Clean, but it was in the catalog, We did however carry Purple Power which everyone said was the same.
