I have a friend that is also building a early 60's "Street Legal Sprint car! He should be ready for the street in May 2009.

I really like the older look myself, a more vintage look like his and your car.

If I had it to do over again I would build a 60's style car too.

Keep me up to date as you come along.

How close are you to Golden Valley, MN?

Oh Man! You cant believe it! I'm pretty sure that I've had some people drive off the road.

I have been stopped by the Police 4 times, (so far) never asked for drivers license or registration, nothing! Just want to check it out and see it up close.

  8. There's a lot more out there but, here's mine. Seriously looking at turning it back into a race car though since there is a vintage group building down here.

  9. Your purple frame and mine are actually very much alike. I only skinned it old school.

  10. About 160 miles north on I-35. Mine will also be "convertible" to a super with the bolt-on cage and Edmunds bodywork.

  11. I'm on i-35 too. 41 miles from the Texas Border. Directions for you ---drive,drive,drive,drive,drive. Then take a left turn at exit 42 in Oklahoma, give me a call and and I'll be there in 3 minutes!

hey guys im very new but respect you guys for having the talent and knowledge for building these cars and keeping them alive. was wondering other than headlights, tailights, turnsignals and licence plate. what are the other things you have to have to make them street legal.

  13. Here is the old Gambler Chassis sprint rod that I'm working the kinks out of.
