Hot Rods new trend? vintage street legal race cars/ post pics

    Someone should build a clone Jarzombeck's 36 chev coupe..That thing was just pure bad ass...... I do believe the car was eventually outlawed....I would drive that on the street though

    I'm AOK with this idea and that black 30's Chevy coupe with the wide tires just blows me away. . However the full wing treatment does present a potential hazard with vision on the street. If I'm ever successful in buying back my '66 Chevelle I've already planned to do a tribute to Smokey's '66 with some select ovaltrack suspension upgrades, a street serious big block, and a paint scheme that will duplicate his controversial car.

    I agree the outlaw and sprint cars are little much but those old coupe bodied modified's are bitchin'

    This was a feature car in Hot Rod a few years back - built new by a veteran race chassis shop - has working doors, etc. I suspect this version comes along with a new owner, but perhaps not. Gary

    I have pictures of a lot of old race cars converted to street from CA.
