Does anyone know of a place where I can get a Billet Serpentine Belt setup for a BBL 500 Caddy????
The Bossman wants a Serpentine belt setup on the Caddy we are building....
If I can't find one for the Caddy 500, then he is going to do a 502 RamJet Chevy motor... We want to stick with the Caddy motor if we can....

All help is appreciated, all critisism is ignored,

WHY? What's the advantage to a serpentine belt? If you can't get one, where are you located and what are you going to do with the 500"?

Scott, I checked March Performance, and they don't do one. My next suggestion would be to check a Caddy specialist...

One of my Cadillac gurus mentioned that there is no kit to his knowledge, but people are using Ford pullys to get this done. He said to check out this site for info...

Cowboyseven... I can't get the link to work... if you type it in instead of using the link it works for me...

(oh, and pop into the intro section and introduce yourself before someone has a heartattack!)

    Thanks for your help....

    I'm located in Ftw, TX.
We have access to a CNC machine, but I figured if someone offered a set, then save some time and money that way possibly.
We are putting it into a 1960 Caddy Coupe Deville.

  9. Serpentine belt?!?!?
Geez, I wish to hell I could dump it on the late model daily drivers we have, they are f....rs to work with, no tool works worth a damn on holding the tensioner whilst you attempt with much cussing to get the belt over the last pulley (even the "specified" tool). I'll take v-belts any day and have never tossed one, even at 7000 rpm. And v-belts are traditional (unless you are doing a real traditional look like the 1920's and earlier cars which had "flat" belts, some of leather so you could use the one on your britches if it broke). LOL.

As if mentioning billit and serpentine belts on his first post without an introduction wasnt enough, his handle reads "You Hoe"... Also, I suggest going with the 502 and I can dispose of that 500 for a small fee.
