Hood ornament identification help

    Hi everyone, I'm John I came here for a long time to read the posts and decided to register

    I collect hood ornaments for some years and found a few months ago this nice streamline hood ornament, could you help me finding from what it came from, it's the only one in my collection I have no idea about, the ornament is 7,28 inches long

    Hi, no there are no part numbers on it, usually there are a maker and a number but this one has nothing on it

    Probably not for any Chrysler product. Usually there is at least a logo "DPCD" on it if it was.

    I finally found, it's from a russian car, a Moskvich 400 from 1954
