Hood ornament identification help

Hi everyone, I'm John I came here for a long time to read the posts and decided to register

I collect hood ornaments for some years and found a few months ago this nice streamline hood ornament, could you help me finding from what it came from, it's the only one in my collection I have no idea about, the ornament is 7,28 inches long

as you can see I have quite a lot of those hood ornaments, it's quite a disease

 

I don't know about the hood ornament.......But something just doesn't seem right, pepsijoe.

Hi, no there are no part numbers on it, usually there are a maker and a number but this one has nothing on it

 

"tractor"?????

 

Probably not for any Chrysler product. Usually there is at least a logo "DPCD" on it if it was.

 

Possibly Studebaker M series pick-up truck.

 

it's similar to the studebaker one but still not this one

 

Early 50's GM?

 

I finally found, it's from a russian car, a Moskvich 400 from 1954

 

Now that is funny!

 

That explains the vodka smell it should have.
