What is a "jive-bomber" ?

Jive Bomber... hmm... how to describe it... think "biggest piece of shite"

initially it was pretty much a booby prize for bringing a steaming pile to the show - but its been given out to others as well... sometimes there isnt a category for some cars and its been used as that as well...

A father/16 y.o. son team brought just a wreck to one show... it was a 350 front engined VW Bug with garden gate hinges on the doors, bubblegum welds... awful... until you talked to them and they were giggling like school girls over it... they had just heard of the show about a month before, cut up and old bug they had in the backyard, threw in an engine that was under the bench, had a ball doing it TOGETHER and had plans for a traditional Model A for next year. The VW was a turd and they knew it, they were pretty sure they werent going to make it into the show and frankly they probably shouldnt have been let it... but their spirit behind the whole thing and the fact that they GOT Billetproof as whole won them JiveBomber. They were over the top, the wife/mother cried she was so happy.
