I´m building a 34 Tudor full fendered and I have So-Cals Knock of wheels. I would like to have Bias-plys in a nice big n little combo but here´s the problem! The wheels are 5,5" wide and when I look at the recomendation chart for different tire sizes it seems I have to have at least 6,00 or 6,50x16 and thats to big for front tires i think. What would happen if I use smaller sizes like 5,00 or 5,50x16? Has anyone tried? or do I have to use radials?

I personally would not run that wide of a rim on the front of a fendered 34.. To answer your question, I think you can run 5.50's on that rim and be fine...
