I missed taking my truck by a couple weeks. The roadster will be there in flying colors.

if all goes as planned there will be a fuel injected Fiat Topolino from the Northwest there.

haven't started the build yet but the parts pile is growing nicely

    Root-

    I am.

Unfortunately, it's the same one I was building for the '04, and then the '05 drags. LOL

This year for sure though. My 5 year old grandson has even offered to help me "so it will get done before you die". I'm pretty sure his dad put him up to saying that, but the point was still driven home.

It's not a HA/GR, just a '60s-style RPU with a race car flavor. I've got all the main parts gathered up, the plans are laid out, and our new shop is finished (so I can't use the old "no warm place to work over the winter" excuse).

Time to get off my *** and get the damn thing put together. Wish me luck - I'm not getting any younger!

I have a parts pile for an HA/GR. If I can go a weekend w/o someone getting married or having a baby maybe I can spin a wrench and build the dang thing.

  8. Kickin' around the idea of makeing it in the roadster. But that remains to be seen.
I'm getting closer everyday to starting my build, but I'm slower than mol***es in January.

The upside is if it doesn't get done I can always shoot for '07, right?

I'm shooting for at least being there in person this time... BUT, if I can sell the HellCamino, I should have something there...

Well, I was making the final plans to go in '05, when everything went upside down and I got too busy. Now the dust has settled and I even have a shop to work in, so car "B" might be ready for '06. I really missed being there this year(!), so I'm extra motivated for '06. But just to cover my ***, here's my official statement: "I'll be taking on all comers in the alcohol cl*** in 2010 with the BTU!"...Alternate official statement: "I might be crewing/driving for Rocky in '06". Then again, I might cut the soles out of my shoes, climb a tree and teach myself to play the flute.....

No Model A this year....Trying to get the Studebaker done for the Carolina/Bonneville/HAMB Drags loop this year.

Definately not a drag car, but the Stude should do a low 14...MAYBE a very high 13.
See you in 9 months. -Abone.
