Managed to fill all the holes in the dash, dont think the post mount radio from the 70's is was going to fly... the rest will be filled with Stewart Warner goodies.

    Greg,
I gotr to ask what are you going to install in the most left hole in the dash? Looks to small for any gauge.

I believe it was for ignition switch, but will probably be for headlight switch. Ignition will be on the column drop or under the dash. I had a flat dash in mind before finding this body, and even made from scratch an engine turned panel. BUT, I really would like to keep this dash with this body, just like the plated garnish moldings. Might have to use this panel for another build, good excuse to look for another 32:D

I HATE the smell of bondo dust, even through a mask. Took some time to see what was under the filled cowl. Brazed in lid, beat down and filled over:eek:. I can get back to good straight metal and use the Brookville cowl vent patch to save it.

Worked on the cowl vent the morning, everything fit!! The weld through primer that the local body shop turned me onto is fricken AWSOME! Using an original vent door, and the rest is from Brookville.

Finally got the cowl vent fitted and held with cleco's. Too tired to try to do any welding, that will be another day with a fresh mind and doing some sample welds on thin gauge metal.

Worked on the hood a bit. Since I shortened the hood on the back side to fit, I lost the folded over piece on the end for strength. I took a 1/8"x 1/2" steel strap and patiently fit it to the shape of the hood for strength. Found some stainless steel fasteners at the home improvement store and modified them slightly for hood locks.
