Technical Juice Brake Question

    I know they have been covered ALOT here, if i've missed it while searching just send me the right direction and thanks!! But if not, will 40 ford rear backing plates and hardware work on the front of an A if the E brake cables and E brake hardware are removed?? I know the bolt pattern has to be reworked but are they even close?? Thanks Alan
     
  2. They should work fine but the correct ones would look a little neater. You should be able to find someone willing to swap (especially if the emergency brake tubes are in good shape, they often break). Try here, fordbarn.com and your local Model A and V8 clubs.

    Front backing plates are cheap like $35.00 ea
