I just picked up these trophies today at a vintage shop near Orange, MA. They are from '58-'60. The '58 trophy is from Orange and the New England Timing ***ociation. The other two are from Sanford, ME and the New England Hot Rod Council ('59 and '60). They are all for B Cl***, Altered Coupe & Sedan. I ***ume they were won by the same car/driver. Does anyone know who won these trophies?

    Thanks in advance.

Bump. Anyone out there with knowledge of the Sanford or Orange Drags? I'm going through my copy of "Cool Cars, Square Rollbars" for leads.

  7. A couple of people who might be able to help you out are Jere Sheehan of the Cam Snappers club in Newburyport M***.Jere was a founding member of the NEHRC.I don't have his contact info but Jack Brady(Church Key)might.Jack may also know himself or someone that does. Probably not a whole lot of cars running B/A back then. The Bluebird I think was a B/A;maybe it was theirs.

Thanks Guys for keeping this thread alive and for the leads. I have PM'd Church Key for help identifying them. Hopefully I will have more to add.

Safarinut, thanks for the leads. I have always loved the Bluebird so it would be an honor to have trophies won by it. Do you know where **** Morse, Skip Lajoie, or lived? I ***ume these have been local since won.

Edit: I did a little digging and learned that Skip Lajoie was from Concord, MA

Off hand, I do not know who's trophies, these could be. If you narrow things down you may be able to figure out who won these. Since one trophy is from Orange Drag Strip and it was found in an antique store in Orange, it should be someone from that area. The other two trophies are from Sanford... they ran thirteen meets a year according to their schedule. If you can find the weekly race results, you could narrow it down. Paul Aldritch may have some of those results. He is not a computer guy and I do not have a contact number for him.
