Hi all, I picked this coupe up back in the tail end of summer as an unfinished (basically unstarted) project that had changed hands a couple of times over an 8 year period. It looked like this when i bought it and is a pretty solid car but the bottom 1' is pretty dinged up. It's my first 40's ford and will be worked on between customers work at my shop so it could be a slow thread, we'll see. To start with the idea was for it to be a mild late fifties custom with a y-block mill (the original 8BA was junked by a PO). Anyway things changed and as I have some free time over this week and next I thought i'd chop the top!. I'm 3 days in and here's the pictorial so far. (additional pics on my blog www.speeddeluxe.blogspot.com ) Day 0
Day 2: Chopped the C posts until i was happy which ended up being 6" and got one side b and c posts roughed up
Day 3 largely consisted of me doing all but an hours work on motorcycles. More updates tomorrow hopefully
